Janice Young has been selected as the October 2008 employee of the month at Meadow Brook Medical Care Facility.  Janice has been employed as a Licensed Practical Nurse since April of 2001.  She currently works as the day shift charge nurse on Sunset Lane.

Janice received the nomination for this award from two of her fellow nurses who state that they enjoy working with her and that they both feel that she is very conscious of her work and the residents that she is responsible for.  Larry Allen, LPN states in his nomination that Janice “always goes to great lengths to see to it that her residents get what they need.”

Janice lives in Mancelona with her two children.  In her time away from Meadow Brook Janice enjoys spending time with her kids, working in her garden, and fishing.  She can often be found at the Mancelona Ironmen sporting events.  Janice says that the best thing about her job at Meadow Brook is the residents and helping them.
