Larry Allen has been selected as the May 2008 employee of the month at Meadowbrook Medical Care Facility. Larry has been employed at Meadow Brook since 2001. He first started at the Facility as a nurse’s aide and then participated in the Career Enhancement Program thru the Facility and received his licensed practical nurse certificate in 2007. Since that time Larry has been a charge nurse on all of the nursing units and currently works on Village Court.

When asked what he likes about his job he stated that he likes the fast pace of the job and the residents who reside at the Facility. In his time away from Meadow Brook he likes to ride his motorcycle and spend time with family and friends. Larry also is lieutenant with the Kalkaska Fire Department, Cold Springs Township.

The residents and staff of Meadow Brook Medical Care Facility would like to congratulate Larry on his achievements and thank him for his service.
